The Mission of the RTS is to train men for the ordained Ministry of the Word and Sacraments for the Church, and to provide the Biblical, theological, personal and spiritual foundations that are required of pastors, chaplains and teachers for faithful ministry in today’s world.

Our Courses

The RTS offers two kinds of courses in Theology: the Diploma course and Bachelor Degree. All these courses are affiliated to the University of Calabar.

Bachelor of Arts Religious Studies

The Christian Religious Studies programme is designed to cover theology, history, and sociology as well as other religious traditions

The Women School

Prepares students' wives to be able to give the desired purposeful leadership and spiritual guidance to the Women Fellowship in their subsequent ministries.

Entry Requirements

Either the West African School Certificate (WASC) or the General Certificate of Education (GCE), SSCE, NECO with at least Five Credit level passes

Registration

On admission, the Seminary usually expects all fresh students to complete their registration forms and all other forms prior to the time of registration.
